Since it’s springtime and everything blooms afresh I am working on freshening up our metal yard art. The first two I’ve done are the three sunflowers with a lady bug and the single large flower. Before repainting:
After repainting using brighter colors that make me happy!
The big flower below before being spruced up. It’s about 4 years old and lost most of its luster and pretty color. The real flowers around the metal one were planted three years ago this is the first year they have bloomed and we were tickled that they did.
The big flower after being spruced up with its new purple and gold!
These precious metal arts hang on the fence in our vegetable garden and after getting a good painting they will now survive another vegetable garden season!
This little guy was pitiful and had almost no color left on him! He’s very happy and colorful now with rolly polly eyes and fresh paint on every piece of him! You can see what he looks like hanging up in the second picture!
My favorite is Billy the Cow (I just named him!) which has not weathered well over time. He lives directly under where the roof drains off to the ground during rain and that’s why he’s not weathered well. The mustardy color around Billy’s face is actually rust so it’s next in line for getting a spring sprucing up!
I hoped to have Billy redone by now but so many other things are going on that he will have to wait a bit.
Sign up to get an email each time I publish a new post. The link to do that is on the right-hand side of this post! Let me provide a little fun and happiness to your day! While my brain still allows me to do this I’ll keep going!
Our faith in God is getting us through this. We know that He is in control and whatever comes our way He will be beside us all the way. Do you have this assurance that comes through salvation making God your Lord and Savior of your life? I hope so, if not ask me. I’d love to share what God has done in our lives and how he’s walked with us through the valleys and the mountain top experiences.
Have a Blessed week!
