2020, Home in Amite

03.16.20 Here’s the SCOOP!

Okay, so I am 65 years old and Roy is 69 years old. We both have what they are calling underlying conditions that make us more susceptible to getting the Coronavirus.

Several days ago we made the decision to stay home away from people for as long as we can. Hopefully that will be until the virus is contained and eliminated.

About 4 to 6 weeks ago we, for no reason but I think it was God’s doing, stocked up on freezer food, pantry food, and paper products.

Since it is springtime there is an abundance of work we can do around our property. I also have branched out from rock painting to decoupaging glass items so there are lots of projects and things to keep us occupied and happy around here.

We both LOVE staying home and enjoying our little slice of heaven here in Amite.

This time at home also gives me plenty of time for blog writing! Also I have lots to share in blog posts soooooooo every day till I have nothing to write about. This will give me something else to do with my time and I’m hoping this will provide ya’ll some distraction to the coronavirus news and stress related to that.

Sign up to get an email each time I publish a new post. The link to do that is on the right-hand side of this post! Let me provide a little fun and happiness to your day! While my brain still allows me to do this I’ll keep going!

Our faith in God is getting us through this.  We know that He is in control and whatever comes our way He will be beside us all the way. Do you have this assurance that comes through salvation making God your Lord and Savior of your life?  I hope so, if not ask me.  I’d love to share what God has done in our lives and how he’s walked with us through the valleys and the mountain top experiences.

Have a Blessed week!
