This wonderful piece is for all my young mom friends ranging from moms with newborns to moms reaching that 936 week mark when their “child” becomes an adult at 18! You know who you are! Anyone can read it though, and learn.
Those 936 weeks is your time to pour into them how much you love Jesus and how important He needs to be to them now and always. This is your time to make lasting impressions on them about everything important so use it wisely and ask God’s guidance at every turn!
I recommend reading it slowly and thinking about each line. It will mean so much more to you.

936 weeks,
that’s all the time we have until our children walk out the door.
936 weeks to check on them before we go to bed. To kiss them on their heads and know they are safe.
936 weeks to have family dinners where we all chat about everything from our day.
936 weeks of lazy Sundays where we all gather in pajamas and watch a movie together after breakfast.
936 weeks of growing together, instead of a part, because we are all under one roof.
936 weeks of making memories together that we can look back on and laugh, smile, and reminisce about one day.
936 weeks where they’re still all mine and not the worlds,
before they become adults creating a life of their own: finding their forever friends, partners, and careers.
This time is fleeting,
and as much as we want to push pause at times and make it last—
we can’t.
So, we must cherish it.
Because even though we never stop being a parent when they leave the house
it’s different.
936 weeks,
takes my breath away
and makes my heart drop.
Because it goes by too fast.
