But this moment… it’s so important.
It’s the moment you’re hit with the realization that you’re not where you once were anymore.
Suddenly you can see that where you’re standing is just a little bit lighter.
You notice that the heaviness isn’t as suffocating.
You realize you can breathe just a little deeper and easier than you could.
It’s this moment when you see that you actually are healing.
It may be slowly, but it’s happening.
This moment is important because it shows you that even when you thought it was impossible, even if at one time you had no hope, you can see now that things can change.
Time and God really do heal.
Even in the worst of things like grief, heartache, rejection, betrayal.. God really is faithful.
HIs Word is true that He heals the broken hearted and binds up their wounds.
He pulls you out of deep waters.
He never leaves you or forsakes you.
He is faithful.
This moment is the moment when you can see that there is still hope that life really can get better.
You shouldn’t live in the past, but sometimes it’s important to look back to see how far He’s brought you.
And hold on to the hope that He isn’t even close to being done yet.
