03.30.20 Take a gander at these little gems!

For Christmas last year I gave our six grandchildren a gift for them to create and give back to me.

My rock room gives me so much happiness painting my little creations. Even with all that happiness I still have nothing on the walls.

I bought six 8×10 canvases for the grandchildren to paint something for me. I didn’t tell them what to paint, just to paint something for my walls and to put their name in the bottom right-hand corner.

I got the canvases at Hobby Lobby for $1.50 each and the paints/markers at Dollar Tree for $1 each. I share that with you in case this is something you’d like to do with your grandchildren. I included a letter to them in the package so they would understand what I am asking them to do. Our littlest is 5 so I figured their mama would need to know what it’s all about.

They’ve all finished their works of art and given them to me. They are so precious that I want to share them with you below. They will be in age order with our oldest granddaughter being 19 and the youngest being 5 (almost 6 she will tell you!) Our oldest has a best friend Madelyn that worked on her canvas art with her.

Our oldest non teenager granddaughter created this. It’s the three older children standing together and the little one flying off the swing! This is so perfect for them!!!

Our granddaughter Madisyn created this heart one with the words Love, Hope, Joy and Faith going all around the edges!

Our only grandson isn’t too much into painting! This is a swamp and the green thing in the water is a crocodile and the big brown animal on the land is a deer. The rest are trees around the swampy area!

Our next youngest granddaughter painted Grannie a bunny and her playing outside on a beautiful sunshiny day.

Our youngest granddaughter who is almost six painted a picture of herself and her two sisters!

Here’s all of them on our sofa before going up on the wall!

Roy is going to put them up on the wall in my rock room and I will add butterflies to finish off my beautiful wall of art! This Grannie will love getting to look up at a wall in my rock room filled with the creations my young grandchildren created for me! This also might be something you could get your children or grandchildren do for you!

Sign up to get an email each time I publish a new post. The link to do that is on the right-hand side of this post! Let me provide a little fun and happiness to your day! While my brain still allows me to do this I’ll keep going!

Our faith in God is getting us through this.  We know that He is in control and whatever comes our way He will be beside us all the way. Do you have this assurance that comes through salvation making God your Lord and Savior of your life?  I hope so, if not ask me.  I’d love to share what God has done in our lives and how he’s walked with us through the valleys and the mountain top experiences.

Have a Blessed week!
