Our oldest son’s family spent the day with us a week ago. They brought everything to boil crawfish and we sooooooooo enjoyed it! We sold all our crawfish cooking equipment when we decided to live on the road so having some cooked for us at our home was fabulous!
Having our grandchildren fishing, riding around in our paddle boat, swinging on the hammocks, riding their 4 wheeler around the area and the little ones riding their jeep all around made this Grannie’s heart very happy. Paw Paw’s too of course.
Roy toting the crawfish boiler loaded with crawfish on his lawnmower cart down to our picnic area.
They caught quite a lot of nice size perch which was a lot of fun to see!
Our only grandson loves going out in the pond to fish. Smart kid that he is he created a live fish well in the paddle boat!
Our oldest son, whose name I cannot share, was the crawfish boil king! Delicious crawfish, corn, potatoes and sausage!
Silly girls love to swing in our hammocks really high. Even when they fall out they got right back in after a tear or two was shed!
Roy and our precious oldest non teenager granddaughter had a nice visit on the front porch before they left.
Since we’re not getting out it was really wonderful to have one last in-person visit with some of the people we love the most!

Our faith in God is getting us through this. We know that He is in control and whatever comes our way He will be beside us all the way. Do you have this assurance that comes through salvation making God your Lord and Savior of your life? I hope so, if not ask me. I’d love to share what God has done in our lives and how he’s walked with us through the valleys and the mountain top experiences.
Have a Blessed week!
