If you only hear one thing from the gospel of John this Christmas season, lean in and listen closely.
Because of Jesus, because of that baby born in a manger who was God Himself, because of His life and death and resurrection, we have eternal life.
We will never die.
Sorrow and grief from a loved one no longer here with us in this life? Yes.
Assurance that, since believing in Jesus, they are more alive than ever in His presence? Yes.
Confidence that what happens after this life is not frightening or final? Yes.
Be assured friend, Jesus came for this!
