Thursday, September 20, 2018 – When I got the phone call from Madisyn asking me to go to her school’s dance with her on my birthday, this Grannie’s whole insides lit up! She’s given me permission to write this blog post and share her photos!
Her new school had a Family Dance and Madisyn probably had the most family there! Paw Paw, Grannie, Chip, Misty, Kallie and her mom Liz.
The adults mostly sat in the chairs along the walls watching the little ones (1st grade to 5th grade) run around and dancing some. They all had those glow stick necklaces around their necks and glowed the night away! Not sure I liked the choice of music but the kids like it and some even danced! The 6th – 8th Grade had a Back to School Dance the week before. In two years that will be Madisyn going to the big kids dance!
Madisyn’s family (minus Grannie who took the photo) Kallie, Misty, Roy and Chip before the dance. Notice the fingers over the adults heads, yes that’s my husband and son doing that!

The photos above are all of Madisyn and her family. She spent a good bit of the evening with her friends and classmates and it was fun seeing her having such a good time! Thanks Madisyn for letting all of us join you at your family dance! Love you doodlebug!
Ya’ll come back now, ya’ hear!
