Friday, September 4, 2015 – Our drive on Thursday brought us through a beautiful section of Redwoods in Jedediah Smith Redwoods State Park. it is a state park in California dedicated to preserving old-growth redwoods along the Smith River. It is located along U.S. Route 199 approximately 9 miles east of Crescent City.
Dora, Boots, Roy and I pulled off to the side of the road in a beautiful spot and explored it for quite some time!
Here are a couple of videos from the Ruth Hatton Perry Grove a beautiful walkway away from the highway that I can only describe as paradise! Lush ferns, magnificent redwood trees all along a lovely natural walkway!
After enjoying a peaceful night’s sleep in Crecent City’s Walmart parking lot we left for our next destination Kamp Klamath in Klamath, California for five days!
Ya’ll come back now, ya’ hear!!
